Bassetts Cove North Coast Beach

Bassetts Cove

Small sandy beach located at the bottom of steep cliffs. Nearby is The Mouth of Hell, one of the most infamous places of suicide in the region. In the other direction is Portreath
Access to the beach is pretty decent for a slippery trail. Combined with the fact that the beach disappears at high tide, it is not ideal for everyone.
The name Bassett is derived from the well to make local family of the same name. They were responsible for the house and the Tehidy park.
Until recently, Bassett was a popular place for old cars.
